Who we are

RESPECTAgZone is a committed, passionate group of home owners, businesses, farms and neighbors in the heart of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. We live in the Agricultural Zone of Indiana Township, a decades old community with ordinances that protect our agricultural way of life, and preserve one of the last remaining areas of its kind for all.

This community includes Hartwood Acres, the Rachel Carson Trail, two FAA airports, land preserved by the Allegheny Land Trust, and countless families raising all things from sheep and goats to state-of-the-art equestrian facilities.

Come visit us and join our cause fighting against Duquesne Light Company!

"These lines would have huge impact on our family and farm"

“High voltage lines across our purebred Dorset sheep farm would destroy our way of life, and put the health of our children at risk”

— C.W.S

These towers would cross over our preserved land

"Dairies don't survive this close to high voltage lines"

“Our unique working dairy is one-of-a-kind in Pittsburgh. These DLC towers would go right over the barn.”
